The Companies!
At SYF we offer three competitive Performance Companies for the more experienced and dedicated dancer that wishes to make dance a fluent part of their life.
We have a Mini Company, Jr. Company, and Sr. Company. Membership of each SYF Company is based upon the level of each dancer. Students wishing to audition for placement on an SYF Company need to be an SYF Dance Student for at least one year, and two years to become a Sr. Company Member. Inquiring students must have experience in Tap, Jazz and Hip-Hop. For Sr. Company students must have experience in Jazz, Lyrical and Hip-Hop. Students are only allowed to audition if asked by an SYF instructor. Auditions are held in Mid March.
