Meet the staff, see live demonstrations from our Performance Company Dancers, and sign up for classses to resurve your child's spot in the classes you want. (you must pay for their first month of dance as well as registration fee that night in order to hold them a spot). Those who sign up that day will recieve a $5 discount on the registration fee. Costumes are done and so beautiful! Miss Jenn and Miss Carol will bring them to the care home today. Please get there about 330 so your child can get their costume and change. Plese remember to have your child's hair back and have them wear white tights. (they have really thick ones at walmart in most sizes) Thank You- SYF Staff
Beginning Irish Step Dance! Learn the art of Irish Step Dance in a fun environment! Children 6 years through adult welcome! Soft Shoe, Hard Shoe, solo and figure (group) dances. Classes will cover different Irish dance and music styles, Irish dance history and Technique Thursday's 7:30-8:30 Pm Classes start December 11th! Class taught by Miss Kelsey! Fee for class is $40 a month and needs to be made payable to Kelsey Wilson. One time yearly $20 registration fee/Insurance fee and needs to be payable to Stamp Your Feet, (if you are not already an SYF student.)
Despite the rumors going around lately we still offer many hip-hop and funk jazz classes. Please see our schedule here. Schedule
SYF will be having a theatre class held during the year this year. The play to be performed by the class will be "The Butler Did It!" This is not a musical (SYF will have a musical next summer). However it's a great play. Also in the class you will learn theatre skills through games and exercises. The class will be held every friday (starting Oct. 2nd) 6pm-7pm at SYF. The fee for the class will be $15 a month for enrolled SYF dance students and $25 a month for non SYF dance students. This classand the play will be taught and directed by Carol Sutherland, and yes occasionally Miss Jenn may come join you in some of your games and exercises (because they are fun!). The play will be performed within about a 3-4 month time span. Also remember SYF dance classes have started this week and we still have openings in most classes, however by the end of Oct. they tend to get full. To resurve a spot in a 2009/2010 school year dance class please send your email to sign up to be put on the list. Please include your name, your child's name and age, possible classes you would like them placed in ( type of class placement depends on your child's age and dance ability and or expirience). Please also include your phone number and your email so we can call you about early bird sign ups. Thank you!

Enjoy a night of show tunes, dance, & comedy, a sneak peek of “Fiddler on The Roof“! Also a special encore performance of “You Can‘t Stop The Beat!“ starring Adam Scarbrough!
Come out and Support the youth of your community! Admission will go towards needed funds for equipment for the SYF Theatre Company and SYF Dance Competition Teams.

Stamp Your Feet will be presenting their annual dance showcase "Dance Laua!" on Sat. June 13th at 6pm at the Oroville State Theatre.
Tickets are $8 in advanced and $9 at the door. Children 4 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased from students of the centre or from Hair Unlimitted located at 2558 Olive Hwy, Oroville (near to A1 Appliance).
Parents and students please note that the dress rehearsal will be held on June 12th from 4-8pm
Please bring all costumes. Also parents of children ages 3-5 need to sit in the audence with you when not on stage, when it't the number before your child's number you will need to bring your child backstage.
Also I need about 5 parent volunteers to be backstage moms to help with costumes and backstage flow.
If you are interested please sign up on the sign up sheet in the lobby. We also need parent volunteers to help put up backdrops on friday during the rehearsal.

Also a big thanks to all who helped us with the parades! Thanks to everyone's hard work we won 2nd in the Kiddie's Day Parade and 1st in the Feather Feista Days Parade!
