Rules and Requirements of Parents or Guardians

The Mission of the Stamp Your Feet Performing Arts Centre is to build self-confidence through the arts. Life Skills such as teamwork, mentoring, and self-discipline are all key elements in what the centre strives for the students to achieve while being involved in classes, productions, and community events. The main goal of the centre is to make every student to feel like a star when they are in class as well As on stage. The following list of parent responsibilities will help maintain our mission.
Parent Responsibilities
1. Please get your child to class on time and maintain regular attendance.
2. Please pick up your child promptly after class.
3. Please label all dance wear/shoes.
4. Please make sure your child wears proper dance wear that fits.
5. Please call and make us aware of absences.
6. Remind student that only water is allowed on dance floor.
7. Please remember you are responsible for supervising siblings. Try to keep them quiet and off railings and dance floor.
8. No coaching from the lobby. Allow Instructor to do their job.
9. Please remember to talk to instructor before/after class if you need assistance. Do not interrupt class time unless an emergency arises.
10. Please use quiet voices in lobby so not to disrupt class.
11. Remind students to be respectful to all.
12. Check dance bags, website or Facebook for up to date studio events and information.
13. Please pay on time. A 25.00 late fee applies after the 5th of each month.
14. Please avoid gossip. It spreads misinformation.
15. Please don't compare your child to another dancer.
16. Please trust your Child's instructor to do their job.
17. Please review the policies and ask any questions you have.
18. Remove your drinks/trash when you leave the lobby.
19. Check lost and found if missing items.
20. Please remember we value your support and want to thank you for choosing us for your Child's dance education!
21. Unless it is an emergency, parents are not enter the music room.

Monthly Dance tuition Fees:

1/2 Hour a Week: $28 a Month
1 Hour a Week: $40 a Month
1 1/2 Hours a Week: $54 a Month
2 Hours a Week: $70 a Month
2 1/2 Hours a Week: $84 a Month
3 Hours a Week: $102 a Month
3 1/2 Hours a Week: $116 a Month
4 Hours a Week: $134 a Month
5 Hours a week: $144 a Month
6 Hours a week $154 a Month
Costumes
Students will be measured for costumes for our annual dance showcase. There is no guarantee that costumes will fit perfectly. Every vendor sizes their costumes differently. We will do our best to find the right fit for your child.
Recreational Dance Class Costumes

The costume fee is $50.00. Costume fees are due no later then December 1st. Costumes will be ordered in December to ensure spring delivery/availability/color and size selection. Each student will be required to purchase one costume for each class they participate. Mini Company Costumes

The costume fee is $50.00. Company costume fees must be paid by Oct. 1st Mini company will be required to pay for 2 costumes for performing. Please be aware that additional costume fees may arise for community performances/parades/etc..Senior Company Dancers

Recreational costumes fees will arise if any company dancer chooses to take recreational classes in addition to their required company classes. All company dancers.
