
Rules and Requirements of Parents or Guardians
1. All Parents or guardians are required to sit in the waiting area during all classes.
2. All Parents or guardians need to pay their bills no later than the 5th of each month. *We take cash, checks, or Visa Master card and money orders.
*If you are late past the 5th the month you will be charged a $25 late fee.
*There is a $25 fee + the amount the check was for, all bounced checks, and must be paid in cash.
3. Our monthly fees are flat fees regardless of holidays. Exceptions are of course are if your teacher is sick and there is no way for Miss Jenn to get a sub .If the student is sick there is no refunds or pro rating.
*Please note that all new students will be charged a $20 registration fee upon registration and all returning students will be charged a $10 registration fee upon registration. Students are considered new if they were not enrolled the dance year before. These yearly registration fees cover the cost of high liability insurance rates.
Please also note that if your child is on a team that uses the Municipal Auditorium parents will need to pay separately to FRRPD the portion of hours their child dances at the Auditorium. All registration fees and additional dance class fees will still be made out to SYF Please note is takeing guitar or violin lessions from John Allen please puy him separately please also please make payments to Candice Horton if you are enrolled in the music apprication
Monthly Dance Fees:
1/2 Hour a Week: $28 a Month
1 Hour a Week: $40 a Month
1 1/2 Hours a Week: $54 a Month
2 Hours a Week: $70 a Month
2 1/2 Hours a Week: $84 a Month
3 Hours a Week: $102 a Month
3 1/2 Hours a Week: $116 a Month
4 Hours a Week: $134 a Month
5 Hours a week: $144 a Month
6 Hours a week $154 a Month
*Students must be in a regular dance class to receive private lessons.
Few time slots are available, please call or email Miss Jenn to check for available time slots.
4. Anything that needs to be discussed with a teacher needs to be done after class. Call Mis Jenn to set up time to discuss anyting you need to talk about with her.
5. Please keep siblings with you at all times in the waiting area.
6. Please limit your talking or talk softly while in the waiting area.
7. All June recital costume fees are due no latter than November 30th. If you pay after November 30th there may be a chance that we can not order your costume or get the size you requested due to custume unavailability. Any accessories that the teacher may deicide at time or later may result in an extra charge. We try to order early so that all students can have the sizes, styles and colors available, as there is a huge demand for costumes with most of the companies after November. There will be no refund or size exchanges made. All costumes are decided by class teacher. Due to costume companies we may have to change styles and colors.

*RULES of our Centre*
1. Students must respect all SYF staff and teachers by keeping a positive attitude.
2. Students must respect each other by using kind words and good sportsman ship.
3. Students need to follow the dress code for each class that they participate in, that includes hair being pulled back.
4. No Gum chewing or food eating during class. Any food needs to be eaten before or after class, or during a break in between classes. All food must be eaten outside at the patio picnic table. All trash needs to be thrown away in the entrance trash can, or outside trash bin.
5. Students are not permitted in the office unless given permission by a SYF staff member.
6. All Parents or guardians are required to sit in the waiting area during all classes.
Dress Code
1.*Dancewear can be found at: Wal Mart, Target, JC Penny, Mervyns, Dance Away (in Chico), and from all the web sites listed. Shoes can be found from: the web sites listed, Wal Mart,Dance Away, and Payless Shoe Store.
2.Kinder Combos: *A leotard or unitard with a skirt or cotton shorts (any colors are fine). *Tights (any colors).*pink leather ballet shoes, black tap shoes.
3.All Jazz /Hip-Hop Classes: *Leotard or fitted shirt with jazz pants, cotton shorts, boxer shorts.
4.*Black jazz shoes, if you are on Dance Team or Pre Dance Team black jazz sneakers are required.
5.Boys can wear basket ball pants or sweats with a tee shirt.
6.Lyrical Classes (beg. and int.): *Leotard with a skirt or cotton shorts (any color)*Tights (any color). *Lyrical Shoes.
6.Adult/Teen Lyrical: Same as for Jazz/Hip-Hop.
7.Advanced Classical Ballet: Any color leotard with tights (preferably pink), with a skirt or cotton shorts or fitted boxer shorts. *If you are in Thursday or Friday lyrical you may want to wear convertible tights so you can just leave them on for lyrical.
8.All Tap Classes: A fitted shirt or leotard with tights with a skirt or shorts or you may wear fitted jazz pants. Boys can wear basket ball pants or sweats with a tee shirt. *Black Tap Shoes.
9.HAIR: All hair needs to be pulled back in a pony tail, braid, or bun. Or half back if too short.
